i am published and all that jazz.

roughly six months ago i was contacted by one of my former teachers from high school. she said she was writing a book and was wondering if i wanted to do a little illustration for each chapter of the book. ( i did.) that book has now been published.
"7 Steps to a Naturally Unbridled Life, An Introduction to Holistic Living: Body, Mind, Spirit & Planet" by Patti Bartsch, M.A., PH.D. is the first book that has ever been printed with my artwork in it. i can't even describe to you the feeling knowing that i actually illustrated a book. its just...fantastic. yes, the illustrations are tiny, but they serve their purpose well.

you can order the book here.

also, please check out the Naturally Unbridled website, especially if you're into holistic living and/or horses.

a giant thank you to Patti for giving me this opportunity!

good morning vietnam.

so i've been told that in order to get my name and artwork "out" to potential clients, i should make a website and/or blog. i've made websites before... i can honestly say i don't have the energy to put into that right now. so i'm making this blog.

it will contain some of my illustrations, sketches, etc and show details on the process i took to create them. i might also include ramblings on life in general. i could go into rants about the boston red sox or just post pictures of puppies. who knows.

i am also fully aware that nobody besides me may ever see this. and as of right now, that's totally fine. i am juggling classes, schoolwork, an actual job (you know, the real kind that pay hourly) and this teeny, tiny little bugger of a thing called a social life. so if i don't get any sort of art-related jobs from this blog any time soon it wont be life-ending necessarily. and i'm used to talking to myself anyway.

also, i'm gonna be one of those hipster toolbags who posts what music they're listening to.
